7Heaven joins with American singer DeBorah for an evening of Jazz, Blues, and a touch of Gospel.
After more than 20 years, DeBorah returns to perform with Heaven once again, bringing Jazz standards, Blues, and Gospel to the stage.

DeBorah’s greatest jazz influence was her father, Walter Stanley Herbert. Stationed in Paris during WWII, he filled her childhood with stories of Jazz icons he knew personally, including Billy Strayhorn, Duke Ellington, and Dizzy Gillespie. DeBorah was once invited to a Dizzy Gillespie concert, where she met him, shared her father’s story, and was invited to sing a song with him.

Having lived in Copenhagen for over 25 years, she has been blessed to perform with some of Denmark’s finest musicians, including Horace Parlan, Richard Boone, and Ed Thigpen.

On this special evening, America and the Faroe Islands meet, sharing northern island sounds and stories that travel from Africa through America, now carried once again to the Faroes in a jazzy blues spirit. DeBorah is delighted to return to the Faroe Islands and to perform with these amazing “Northern Lights” musicians from 7Heaven.
